Visual Texture
Concrete consists
of water, sand, stone (aggregate) and cement. When concrete is cast,
the wet cement coats all of the other materials. Different degrees of
grinding and polishing the concrete will reveal diferent visual texture
options.

grinding, most of what can be seen is the cement. this finish
may patina more than other finishes

light grinding
exposes the sand. sand finish is usually the most even and consistent
look.
